Our programs for women

  Literacy Program

  Women step out to gain the basic education they missed in childhood. Learning to read and write boosts self-confidence, helps them stand up for themselves, and lays a foundation for more skills.

• Computer Classes

  Thanks to donated computers, we provide essential digital skills, using computers and the internet, to help women succeed in the modern world.

• 

  Stitching & Fashion Designing

  A comprehensive six-month course from basic stitching to advanced fashion design, including embroidery and tie & dye. Graduates open boutiques, work in export houses, or stitch for their families.

• 

  Mehendi Art

  Mehendi application is a valuable, in-demand skill. Our training enables women and girls to earn income applying henna for weddings and special occasions.

• Beautician Course

  Conducted twice a year, our hands-on beautician course equips ladies to work in, or open, their own beauty parlours.

• 

  Fancy Gift Packing

  With fancy gift packing a popular trend, we train women in this art, enabling work with event management companies and for special occasions.

• 

  Dholak (Drum) & Dance

  Held during summer vacations, our music and dance classes are always packed to capacity, joy and cultural enrichment in equal measure.

• Cooking Classes

  Whenever there is interest, we organise cooking classes, from South Indian dishes to baking, helping women take up catering orders.
